I am currently a Data Scientist at Starbucks, providing data science and analytics support to international markets and conducting user testing, product innovation, and pricing recommendations. I am also currently an Affiliate Researcher at MIT FutureTech, where I collaborate with other researchers to write on and analyze data concerning AI progress and associated economic trends.
Previously I was a Data Science Senior Analyst at Accenture Research, researching topics like Generative AI’s impact on the global labor market and forecasting future technology trends. Prior to that, I was a Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, where I contributed to research in macroeconomics and labor economics and assisted in monetary policy. I obtained my B.S. in Joint Math-Economics from UC San Diego and graduated in June 2019.
I first became interested in research, data science, and statistics due to my fascination with analyzing large data sets and tracking associated trends and patterns. My past experiences in economic research and innovation technology have further grown that interest. In the future, I hope to eventually conduct research and data science work in the sphere of public policy. Working with large data sets, analyzing and visualizing trends and results, and incorporating economic theory with actual data are all particular interests.
